Hello, everyone! I'm Ujwal Rathor, a student at DSPMU.
Today, I want to share an exciting journey that began with a bug in NASA's website and led to the creation of Tech Talks DSPMU, a platform that aims to transform our tech community here at the university.
The NASA Bug
In February, during one of my late-night coding sessions, I stumbled upon a bug on NASA's website. It was a minor flaw, but discovering it gave me a huge adrenaline rush. I reported the issue to NASA, and they acknowledged my finding. The thrill of that moment was indescribable. It was like being on top of the world, knowing that even a student like me could contribute to such a prestigious organization.
A Spark of Inspiration
I shared this experience with Rajendra Kumar Mahto Sir, one of our esteemed professors at DSPMU. His reaction was both inspiring and motivating. He congratulated me and said, "Ujwal, if you can find bugs in NASA's website, imagine what you can do for our own university!" His words struck a chord with me. It was then that I realized I wanted to do something significant for DSPMU.
The Birth of an Idea
The idea for Tech Talks DSPMU started to take shape. I envisioned a platform where students could learn, share, and grow together in the field of technology. A place where we could host tech talks sessions, webinars, and discussions, and provide resources like job boards and internship listings. A hub for tech enthusiasts to connect and collaborate.
Building the Platform
With a clear vision in mind, I began working on the platform. It was challenging, balancing studies and development work, but the excitement kept me going. Slowly, the website started to come together. I implemented features like login and signup functionality, job boards, and internship listings. Each new feature added fuel to my motivation.
Launching Tech Talks DSPMU
When we finally launched Tech Talks DSPMU, the response was overwhelming. Our community started to grow, and the feedback was incredibly positive. Students appreciated having a dedicated space to enhance their tech skills and explore opportunities. We even hosted tech talks with industry experts and YouTube tech personalities, adding more value to our platform.
A Personal Milestone
I always wanted to write a blog, and now it came true in such an exciting manner. Sharing this journey with all of you is incredibly fulfilling. I hope it inspires you as much as it has motivated me.
The Journey Continues
Today, Tech Talks DSPMU is more than just a website; it's a thriving community. We have over 200 members, and our reach is expanding. We're constantly adding new features and improving the platform to serve our students better. Our latest additions include a blog page and a chat feature to facilitate real-time discussions.
A Call to Action
I'm grateful for the support and encouragement from DR. Rajendra Kumar Mahto, DR. Rahul Deo Sah, MS. Jyoti Bala, MS. Aanchal Kumari and DR. Priya Ranjan Darshi and all the professors who have believed in this project. But we need more support to make Tech Talks DSPMU a truly transformative platform. I urge all students and faculty members to join us, share their insights, and help us grow. If you have a passion for writing, I encourage you to take advantage of our Pro Members feature and start blogging. Together, we can make DSPMU a beacon of technological excellence.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Let's continue to learn, share, and innovate!
